How do you read without a person present?

Intuition is not restricted by the limitations of time or space.  Your five outer senses tell you that two objects are not touching if they are in different rooms.  The intuition knows that, on a deeper level, all people - all things- are always touching, always connected.  The very purpose of the inner senses is to give one "feedback" from this "inner world" of energy that connects us with each other and all that is.

What is a Spirit Medium?

A medium is a person who communicates to spirits telepathically in the mind by hearing, feeling and seeing visual impressions, symbols, and scenes from the spirit world.  A medium is able to receive and connect with higher frequencies or energies that our loved ones in spirit vibrate on.  Normally your loved ones on the other side like to acknowledge who they are by bringing up subjects that will allow you to identify and validate that it is indeed them.

You already do every time that you think of them.  Your thoughts communicate with them and they hear you clearly.  All you need is to be patient, willing and not fearful.

What is the difference between psychic ability and intuition?

We normally think of intuition as a strong feeling, instinct, or gut reaction.  Intuition is usually more accurate than we recognize.  It is more of an impression than a precise insight.  Everyone has intuitive feelings, but we have trained ourselves to ignore them.  Psychic ability is the refined use of intuition.  It is more active and precise.  Psychic insight requires you to focus your intuition without distracting random thoughts.  You have to train yourself tp quiet your "mental traffic jam of thoughts" in order to hear your intuition.  This requires practice and trust.
